Ocean Serenity Apartments are very suitable for families. All have two bathrooms and two or three bedrooms.
Ocean Serenity Apartments are very suitable for couples. Especially if you like some space.
All Ocean Serenity Apartments have Air Con and Heat Pumps in the living area. There are fans and heaters in all the bedrooms.
All apartments have a full kitchen with stove top, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave etc.
All apartments have two bathrooms and two toilets.
Magnolia, Pohutukawa, Poppy and Peony apartments have baths and showers. Toi Toi just has two showers.
All Ocean Serenity apartments have at least one carpark. Some have space for two or three cars. See the specific Apartment webpage for details. Additional parking is available nearby.
Pets are not allowed.
All Ocean Serenity apartments have free high speed wifi.
We do not have an EV charging station on-site but there is one 5 minutes’ walk away in the centre of town.
We do not provide cots and cribs, but you are welcome to bring your own.
There is a free tennis court and there are racquets and balls in your apartment.
There is a heated pool available for guest use during daylight hours.
All Ocean Serenity Apartments are two or three levels. There are stairs with handrails but no elevator.
All apartments have washing machines and dryers inside the apartment. Laundry powder is provided.
We do not serve breakfast, but Hula Café two minutes’ walk away serve an excellent breakfast and there are many other cafes in walking distance.
We do not allow parties. All guests are kindly requested to leave the property by 10pm?
We do not provide a shuttle, but our local Taxi company Whiti City Cabs will be happy to provide transport to and from the airport for around $25 each way.
Check in at reception is 2pm – 6pm (late check in until 10pm by prearrangement)
Check out is 10am

The apartments are not wheelchair accessible.
We can sometimes provide an early check in. Please contact reception on the day of arrival.
Late check out is not usually available, due to heavy demand on our housekeeping staff.
There is an onsite manager who is contactable after hours via our office number.
All our apartments have Sky cable TV or smart TVs.

Waterfront Apartments are 5 minutes’ walk from the Whitianga Wharf and Ferry Terminal.
Whitianga is around 40 minutes’ drive to Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach.
Most local restaurants, cafes and bars are 5 to 10 minutes’ walk from our apartments.

We do not make bookings on behalf of guests for tours and attractions, but we are able to provide recommendations based on our own experience. Each apartment also has a compendium with extensive information and contact details for local activities.
Buffalo Beach is safe for swimming. Two minutes’ walk to the beach from Ocean Serenity Apartments.
Buffalo beach across the road is great for fishing and there are many other fishing and diving locations near Whitianga.
There is small children’s playground onsite and a very good children’s playground 10 minutes’ walk from Ocean Serenity Apartments.
