- The middle level is the heart of the apartment, with a fully furnished lounge, dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen. This level also opens onto a private balcony with an outdoor dining area and BBQ, perfect for enjoying meals in the fresh air.
- On the ground floor, you’ll find a third bedroom with two single beds, ideal for teens or extra guests. This area is open to the garage and laundry, providing a practical space for families. A second bathroom with a shower and toilet is also located on this level.
- One of the key benefits of staying at The Pohutukawa Apartment is the flexibility of the parking options. The apartment includes space for up to two standard-sized vehicles or one car in the garage with space for a small boat in the driveway. If you choose to use the garage, the ground floor sleepout area is not recommended for use. Additional parking is available on Eyre Street if needed.
The maximum number of guests this apartment can house is six people. The room rate is based on 2 people. Each additional person is $40 per night.

Check in at Waterfront Apartments reception, located right next door at 2 Buffalo Beach Road from 2:00-6:00pm. Late arrivals by pre-arrangement only and no arrivals after 10:00pm, thank you. Please phone 07 869 5994 during office hours (8:30am-6:00pm) to make pre-arrangements.
Cancellation Policy
From May 1st through to 31st October cancellations made two days or less prior to arrival, or no-shows, incur a charge for the first night's stay. From 1st November through to 30th April cancellations made seven days or less prior to arrival, or no-shows, incur a charge for the first night's stay.
