We had a wonderful, relaxing stay
The apartment has a great layout (yes, there are some stairs but with the main living area being upstairs you get the best view and the two bedrooms downstairs keep nice and cool on a hot day). We came for a fishing comp and had ample space to park our boat. The boat wash area within the complex was very handy, too. Apartment was close to pool and The Lost Spring spa which the ladies enjoyed while we were out fishing. We’ll be back!

Pristine high-end apartments... highly recommended for couples or groups!
What an amazingly pristine and well-appointed apartment and perfect location for our 2 days in Whitianga. Our apartment was a street back from street that lines Buffalo beach. We actually really liked the peace and quiet of the location in the complex, right at the end of the road. The apartment itself was very nice, including everything you need in the kitchen and otherwise, comfy beds, etc. It is a few minutes’ walk down the beach to get to the restaurants, all of which were also great.

Lovely condo with a view to the ocean
Very comfortable and next door to The Lost Spring and Spa. I would return here.
Pro: Nice and quiet with easy walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants.
Con: Lots of stairs! However, it didn’t do us any harm!

Our favourite place to stay in Whitianga
The apartments are clean, modern, and comfortable with access to a lovely pool which is perfect for the kids. It is a short walk to the shops and restaurants and a stone’s throw to the beach. We will be back again next year for sure.

The furnishings and interior design make you feel right at home. Very friendly service and simply a great location. Unfortunately, we were only there for two nights.

Great stay
Modern, fully equipped property. Had everything you’d need including body boards, tennis rackets. Good location, minutes from the beach, easy walk into town.

Beautifully decorated incredibly friendly
Great apartment with nice décor close to the pool, beach and just a 5 min walk into town. Staff were friendly and helpful. They gave us a map and highlighted sights to show us where the most interesting places were and also recommended some restaurants which turned out to be fantastic!

Perfect for our family
Friendly helpful staff and overlooking the pool and tennis court. The apartment was tidy and large enough for the six of us to spread out and relax. Found a short cut through to the beach a few minutes walk away. Definitely want to come back when the sea is a bit warmer.

What a shame we had to leave
There’s so much to do inside the apartment and outside we had so much fun! The kids (and Dad) had fun on the pool table and game station. Chris lent us some spades for the Hot Water beach and told us how to find the hot water and then we snuck away to the Lost Spring literally right next door. It was a great family get away.

Homely and well located
We really enjoyed our stay here for a long weekend. You couldn't get any closer to the Lost Spring Spa, and it was in easy walking distance of town and the esplanade. There were two double/queen beds upstairs, with another room connected to the garage with two single beds and an ensuite. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the cosy living space, where all the necessary kitchen utensils were readily available. I'd happily recommend this place to anyone considering a stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The apartment was clean and spacious for the two of us, and would have been great for four people also. We appreciated having a washer and dryer for laundry in the unit. Communication with the property managers was great, and they were very helpful in giving recommendations of things to do, places to eat, etc. Parking at the apartment was easy as the unit has its own driveway, and also a garage that is accessible. There are several options for shopping and eating within walking distance. The ferry over to Cook's Beach is also just a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again, and would definitely recommend to others.

One word BEAUTIFUL!
We loved the location. How easy it was to find the apartments.. How lovely, kind and welcoming the hosts were.. We found the apartments were beautiful, clean and comfy.. We would come back to Whitianga and only choose to stay there. Honestly we couldn’t fault a thing. Everything was beautiful and perfect for us and have recommended it to a lot of our friends.
Have just completed a 2 night stay for 6 at Ocean Serenity.
Staff were very helpful and nice. I am very fussy and was extremely happy to see how clean the apartment was. I didn’t have to clean anything b4 i used it which is what i have to do at other apartments prior. Unfortunately didn't leave it how we found it after 6 adults swimming in the sea and dropping sand and grime on the carpet meant work for the cleaners. Thank you management and staff for a peaceful stay in Whitianga.

The location was great.
Close to everything. Loved that we could use tennis rackets, boogie boards, dart board, and pool table (though it's not flat). It was great to have fans in the upstairs rooms due to the heat. The kitchen was clean and had all the things we needed, including a sandwich press. Really comfortable outside furniture. Great swimming (saltwater).

We had a family 8 ball and darts competition which was so much fun. Loved the glass bottom boat and Hot Water Beach. Want to come back and do it again next year.

A lovely stay and friendly staff
This place had everything we needed for a family break. Short walk through the access path to the beach when the weather was good and plenty of games and big TV for the kids when it rained. The manager came and showed us how to use the remotes. Really appreciated the clean apartment and service.

Location was amazing !!! Hired two apartments under different managements for a girls weekend and this one by far was the best !!! Close to the hot springs and better quality. Ocean views. Comfy beds. Very clean and tidy.
